Cat6 is not automatically the wrong choice
Cat6 is widely used in business networks and may be a sensible fit when the equipment plan, run lengths and pathway conditions support it.
Cat6A may change the installation plan
Cat6A can offer more headroom for some project requirements, but it is often larger and can affect bundles, pathways, bend radius and termination space. That practical impact belongs in the discussion.
Match the components
Cable, jacks, patch panels, patch leads and termination quality work as one channel. Installing a higher category cable does not fix a poorly planned rack or a mismatched component.
What to send with a question
